Group Exhibit

The Sculptors’ Association of Alberta (SAA) has organized many exhibits over the past 25 years. These shows provide members with the opportunity to show their works, and the public to view sculpture in many different forms and media.

People look forward to the annual show in the Muttart Conservatory, where sculptures mingle with the beautiful foliage during the summer months. Another popular annual show is held in the gallery at the downtown Stanley A. Milner Library. Shows have also been held at the McMullan Gallery, U. of A. Hospital, and the Strathcona County Library.

Over the years exhibits have been mounted in conjunction with The Works Festival in locations as diverse as the Manulife Building and City Hall.

We invite you to look at our past exhibits in these albums.

Silver Skate Festival Snow Sculpture Competition

Every culture, country and person have stories to tell. Passed on from generation to generation these stories paint a picture of who you are and where you come from. Many of these Fables and Folk tales are universal and share a common thread or theme while others are as unique as the storyteller telling them; perhaps a figment of their imagination. Artists are invited to share their stories at the Silver Skate Festival and create a snow sculpture inspired by a Fable, a Figment or a Folk Tale. To download application CLICK HERE!
